Little Girls & Their Dolls

With an eight year old niece and several friends with young daughters in a similar age group, the world of 18" dolls recently opened up to me, and I must say, I'm hooked!

It's such a pleasure to be able to make matching outfits for the little girls and their dolls, and, of course the world of doll accessories is endless.

Here I really want to give a shout out to my friend Andrea, who has the best ideas, and knows just the way to a little girl's heart with her original creations. Take a look at her Instagram feed, @andrea.petra.doris, and her Facebook page, "More Than Just a Toy". Andrea also teaches children (and their mommies, if they're keen) to sew, as well as organizing sew-for-your-doll parties and workshops for girls here in Santiago, Chile.

If you live in Santiago, why not pay her a visit at the Nido School Fair, "Feria de Artesanía en el Parque Internacional del Colegio Nido de Aguilas" next Thursday and Friday, the 20th and 21st of April, 2017.
